There's something about beginning again. The nervous excitement, not knowing exactly how it will pan out but being certain that taking the leap is always worth it.
I sit at the Espresso House, working on the final tweaks: the askew photos and formatting snafus plague me. The place is the perfect coffee shop: rambling two storey layout with long wooden community tables, club chairs, oversized comfy couches, free wifi that’s actually fast and outlets aplenty. Oversized antler chandeliers hang from the ceiling. It’s Starbucks with a Scandinavian hipster vibe.
I mumble under my breath, second guess, swear, perfectionate. “Don’t let the perfect be the enemy of the good” plays on a loop in my brain.

Let it go and hit publish.
It’s too plain, all template. There’s nothing new. It’s not enough. I want there to be more. I want products and services and Wayfinder Guides and a photography portfolio and a bookshelf and and and.

Yes, keep it simple. Start where you are. Take your time and figure it out as you go along, knowing it will change. It will wander here and there [just like you], some things will stick and some you will shed [just like life].

Let it go and hit publish.
The new website launches. And so do we.
The timing is no accident.
What life is waiting for us now? We shall find out.
